About the brand
Lelo
The brand that would become LELO started in 2003, in the front room of a Stockholm townhouse, where three designers coalesced at exactly the right place at exactly the right time, with exactly the right idea. It was an idea that would eventually reshape and transcend the confines of an entire industry, and it began with a simple question:
What if their most intimate items were made as beautiful as the ones they displayed with the most pride?
Thus came to life the original LILY™, the very first LELO pleasure device. Word-of-mouth on this new kind of sex toy quickly took the original designers, the original product, and the brand around the world. The sudden increased demand for elegant and efficient concepts started a revolution in sex toy design, feeding the collective desire for more beautiful intimate objects. That desire has not changed, but LELO's reach has. With offices from Shanghai to San Jose, and most cities in between, LELO’s story is inseparably entwined with the changing sexual landscape.
They're a brand unlike any other: LELO has long established itself as THE luxury pleasure brand, leading the market in design, innovation, technology, and reputation. Their heritage is built on quality, securing its place as the foremost sex toy brand in the world. But LELO is not just a sex toy brand; it’s a self-care movement aimed at those who know that satisfaction transcends gender, sexual orientation, race, and age. They’re offering the experience of ecstasy without shame, the pleasure of discovering all the wonders of one’s body, thus facilitating our customers with confidence that leads to a fulfilled intimate life.
After releasing LELO’s first products into the world, they've lifted the pleasure industry out of the murk, made it beautiful, and introduced it to a whole new global audience. More than that, LELO designs have been guiding and influencing the sex toy industry for over a decade due to their signature blend of pleasure, design, and performance like no other. They’ve continually been rewarded and recognized for that work - a lot.

How to Properly Clean Your Sex Toys – A Guide to Safe, Hygienic Pleasure
Taking care and cleaning your sex toys is just as important as choosing the right one. Proper cleaning not only extends the life of your toy but also protects your body from harmful bacteria and infections. Whether you're using a vibrator, dildo, anal plug, or stroker, maintaining good hygiene is essential for safe and enjoyable pleasure.
1. Know Your Material
Different materials require different cleaning methods. Most high-quality sex toys are made from body-safe, non-porous materials like medical-grade silicone, glass, stainless steel, or ABS plastic. These are the easiest to clean and sanitize. Porous materials like jelly rubber, cyberskin, or TPE are more difficult to clean thoroughly and may harbor bacteria, so extra care is needed—or better yet, opt for higher-quality alternatives.
2. Cleaning Basics
After every use, clean your sex toy with warm water and mild, unscented soap or a specialized sex toy cleaner. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. For toys that are waterproof, you can wash them under running water. For non-waterproof or battery-powered toys, be cautious to keep electrical parts dry—use a damp cloth for the exterior.
3. Deep Cleaning Options
For non-porous, non-electronic toys, a deeper clean can be done by boiling them for 3–5 minutes (silicone, stainless steel, or borosilicate glass only) or using a 10% bleach solution (rinse well afterward). Never boil or soak toys with motors or electronics.
4. Drying and Storing after cleaning your sex toys
After cleaning your sex toys, pat your toy dry with a clean, lint-free cloth and let it air-dry completely. Store it in a breathable storage bag or a designated container to keep it clean and dust-free. Avoid letting toys made of different materials touch, as some can react with each other over time.
5. Use Lube Wisely
Always match your lube to your toy material. Use water-based lube for all toys, especially silicone ones, to avoid damaging the surface. Silicone lubes can degrade silicone toys over time.
Treat your toys with care, and they’ll take care of your pleasure. Keeping them clean is a simple step toward safer, more satisfying play—every time.

Lubricants – The Unsung Hero of Pleasure
Lubricants, or lubes, are one of the most essential and versatile products in any intimate routine. Whether you’re enjoying solo play, partnered sex, or experimenting with toys, a good lube enhances comfort, intensifies sensation, and reduces friction for a smoother, more enjoyable experience.
There are several types of lubricants, each designed to suit different needs and preferences:
1. Water-Based
Water-based lubes are the most common and versatile. They’re compatible with all sex toys and condoms, easy to clean, and feel light and natural. Perfect for everyday use, they're ideal for both vaginal and anal play. However, they may dry out faster than other types and may require reapplication during longer sessions.
2. Silicone-Based
Silicone lubes are long-lasting, silky-smooth, and waterproof—making them perfect for shower or bath play. They don’t absorb into the skin as quickly, so they stay slick for much longer. Silicone lubricants are great for anal sex or extended sessions but are not recommended with silicone toys, as they can degrade the material over time.
3. Oil-Based
Oil-based lubes offer a rich, creamy texture that many find luxurious for external use or sensual massage. However, they are not compatible with latex condoms and can be harder to clean up. They're best used for manual play or external stimulation.
Why Use Lube?
Using lubricant reduces the risk of irritation, enhances sensation, and allows you to explore more freely—whether it's trying a new toy, experimenting with positions, or indulging in anal play. Lube is especially important for people experiencing dryness due to stress, menopause, or medication. It’s not just about function—it’s about maximizing pleasure.
Choosing the Right Lube
Always choose a body-safe, paraben-free, and glycerin-free formula if you’re sensitive. Many lubes are now made with organic or vegan ingredients, and some even include added benefits like warming or cooling sensations, or ingredients that support vaginal health.
