This competition is organised and run by Dear Desire, operated by HSB Trading (Pty) Ltd.
Competition Period
The Dear Desire Turns 5 Birthday Giveaway runs from 1 July 2026 at 09:00 (SAST) until 31 July 2026 at 23:59 (SAST).
No entries received after the closing date will be accepted.
Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and older.
Employees of Dear Desire, their immediate family members, suppliers, agencies and anyone directly connected to the administration of the competition may not enter.
How To Enter
Customers will automatically receive entries into the Birthday Vault Giveaway when placing an order on www.deardesire.co.za or in store during the competition period.
Entry allocation is as follows:
- Orders below R999 receive one (1) entry.
- Orders of R999 or more receive two (2) entries.
No separate entry form is required.
Cancelled, refunded or fraudulent orders will not qualify for entry.
Free Birthday Gift Promotion
The first twenty-five(25) qualifying orders with a value of R999 or more will receive a free birthday gift.
Free gifts:
- Are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Are subject to availability.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or alternative products.
- May vary in value and product type.
Once all twenty-five(25) gifts have been allocated, the promotion will end.
The Birthday Vault Prize
One winner will receive the Dear Desire Birthday Vault prize package.
The prize package includes selected products featured in the Birthday Vault promotional material.
Dear Desire reserves the right to substitute any prize item with a product of equal or greater value should circumstances require.
The total prize value is approximately R15,000+.
The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash, credit or alternative products.
Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the competition closes.
The draw will take place on or before 4 August 2026.
The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided during checkout.
If the winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, Dear Desire reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Winner Announcement
The winner may be announced on Dear Desire's website, social media platforms and marketing channels.
By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their first name, surname initial and province for winner announcement purposes.
General
Dear Desire reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
By participating in the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The decision of Dear Desire regarding any aspect of the competition shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
